Design and Features

Elegant yet athletic, the new Stinger features a sleek profile with Kia’s signature tiger-nose grille in the front and four curved exhaust pipes in the rear. Its hatchback design allows for sufficient passenger and cargo room. You can opt for the larger 19-inch alloy wheels for improved high-speed performance or go with the standard 18-inch wheels. The cabin showcases an aircraft-inspired control panel with ergonomically contoured bucket seats to embrace you in every curve. Leather-trimmed seats, heated front seats, 12-way power- driver’s and 8-way power-adjustable front passenger seats, comfortable and roomy rear seats, and the flexibility of a 60/40 split-folding back seat, are standard. Available features consist of Nappa leather trim, ventilated front seats, cushion thigh extensions, heated rear outboard seats, and a heated steering wheel.


The powerful Stinger has two engine options; both coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard rear-wheel-drive. The first is a 2.0-liter inline-four twin-scroll turbocharged engine with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters and a 255-hp and 260 lb-ft of torque output. The Stinger comes standard with idle stop and go and Drive Mode Select which incorporates Eco, Sport, Comfort, Smart, and Custom modes. Available is a responsive 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 that kicks out 365-hp and 376 lb-ft of torque and reaches 0 – 60 mph in just 4.7 seconds. All-wheel-drive, a limited-slip differential, and Brembo brakes are optional.


A UVO infotainment system with a 7.0-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth®, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility, SiriusXM® satellite radio, a six-speaker sound system, two USB ports, a Smart Key with push-button ignition, and Smart welcome with an automatically illuminating entry are included. Available technologies include a larger 8.0-inch touchscreen, voice-command navigation, SiriusXM® Traffic, a wireless phone charger, and a Harman/Kardon® fifteen-speaker premium audio system.
