The Hyundai Sonata offers SE, SEL, Sport, and Limited trims. The base powertrain employs a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission to make 185-hp and achieve an estimated 35 mpg on the highway and 26 mpg of city driving. Optional is a 245-hp 2.0-liter twin-scroll turbo backed by an eight-speed automatic transmission with a front-wheel drivetrain. Paddle shifters are also optional on the Sport and Limited 2.0T models.
